In an age of technology, it’s inevitable our kids want to spend time on iPads and smart phones. So finding games and apps that are safe, fun and educational is important.
I’m not going to lie, as a parent, technology scares me. But I’ve learnt to embrace it as a source of learning and entertainment.
One of my favourites for kids is the free Drawn In app.
Drawn In is an interactive drawing app designed to encourage creativity. It’s a Pictionary-style game that provides learning and fun through reading and drawing.
You’re given a word, which you then have to interpret in a drawing. It’s great for Charlie’s reading and Leo joins in by guessing what the drawing is.
It’s exciting seeing a child’s creativity come to life and that’s exactly what happens when my boys play Drawn In.
It’s perfect for little fingers and big imaginations and ideal for home or when you’re out and about.
